And then the North East just stopped caring.

#earthquake and hurricane? fucking bring it. we’re the east coast we don’t give a shit about your weather. we’ll punch that weather in the face and then eat a cheese steak. fuck weather.

Kurt?

awww shit we’re gonna be getting your wind&shit

I seem to have avoided the disaster zone.

Perhaps living in the Deep South has it’s advantages.

BRING IT, MOTHER NATURE.

sounds fun

Glad I’m in the area that is not on this map.  An earthquake + a hurricane?  Wow. What the fuck did the east coast do to piss off nature so much?

oh fuck!

One of my friends who was there just told me that when it happened she ran outside to find everyone from her building already outside

You guys..wow. I mean granted I grew up with Earthquake drills and stuff so I had the stuff drilled into me.. but you poor people who didn’t, good grief. It’s…

I confess….I was that friend that ran out w/o thinking. I just kinda went on auto-pilot. Chalk it up to my inexperience w/this kind of thing plus I’m on some heavy meds after dental surgery. Anyway, these are good tips. Thanks for posting this Serina!

Earthquake in Maryland/DC

llbwwb:

It was terrible and I’m scared to death! My house shook so hard and for so long. Everything in my bedroom has fallen over. We don’t get earthquakes here, but I knew in a few seconds thats what it was. CNN said it’s 5.9,but I bet it’s at least a 6. I’m still shaking with fear and need to go check my house now!

I’m in Alexandria, VA and it shook the crap out of my apartment. Scary!
